WOODBINE, Ga. -- Authorities say they arrested an escaped jail inmate trying to sneak back into the lockup with cigarettes allegedly stolen from a nearby store. Sheriff Tommy Gregory said Saturday that 25-year-old Harry Jackson had opened a door to the exercise yard and climbed the outer fence. Deputies found a jail door unlocked early Saturday and were looking for the inmate. They spotted Jackson trying to come back in and found 14 packs of cigarettes they believe were stolen from a convenience store about a block away. Jackson faces new charges of breaking out of jail and burglary. He was already in jail

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Police said a man shot his neighbor, mistaking her for a monkey as she was picking sapodilla fruit in his tree.
Yahaya Othman, police chief in eastern Pahang state, said the woman was gathering fruit Thursday when her neighbor shot her.
The man came home and saw rustling in the tree and fired into it, Yahaya said. "Then there was screaming ... and only then did he know it was his neighbor."

SPOKANE, Washington - The mysterious mewing in Vickie Mendenhall's home started about the time she bought a used couch for $27.
After days of searching for the source of the noise, she found a very hungry calico cat living in her sofa.
The Spokesman-Review reported that her boyfriend, Chris Lund, was watching TV on Tuesday night and felt something move inside the couch. He pulled it away from the wall, lifted it up and found the cat, which apparently had crawled through a small hole on the underside.
Mendenhall contacted the store where she bought the couch, but it had no information on who donated it. So she took the cat to the animal shelter where she works, so it could recover, and contacted media outlets in hopes of finding the owner.
Sure enough, Bob Killion of Spokane showed up to claim the cat on Thursday after an acquaintance alerted him to a TV story about it.
Killion had donated a couch on Feb. 19, and his 9-year-old cat, Callie, disappeared at about the same time.

ok im sorry but LMFAO
WOMAN HANDCUFFED SELF TO HUSBAND, BIT HIM Some men are really tied down by marriage.
A Connecticut woman, in an effort to reconcile with her estranged husband, cuffed herself to him as he slept then added insult to injury by biting him on his arms and chest as he tried to phone cops for help, authorities said.
Helen Sun, 37, of Bridgeport, told police she wanted to have a conversation with Robert Drawbough without him leaving, police told The Associated Press.
In order to do that, Sun said, she changed the locks on their bedroom door and as he slept Monday, handcuffed herself to him.
When Drawbough realized what had occurred, he called 911 from his cell phone, police said.
Almost out of breath, he told a police dispatcher that he had woken up handcuffed to his wife and was trying to hold her down, according to a recording released by police.
Dispatchers heard Drawbough scream in pain as his wife bit him.
"Owwww!" Drawbough shouted into the phone. "Are they almost here? Oh God! I need help!"
Asked by dispatchers why his wife was attacking him, Drawbough said he divorced her following a rocky eight-year marriage.
Police have charged Sun with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment and unlawful restraint.
She was released today on $400 bond after an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
